It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Gordon Wayne VanderLaan of Hart, Michigan, who passed away on July 28, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Cyril VanderLaan and Virginia VanderLaan (Flintoff); his wife Linda Lou VanderLaan (Dennison); and his stepfather Thomas Pekich. He is survived by: his children, Tammy Wendt and Timothy Vanderlaan (Becky); his grandchildren, Kourtney Wendt (Adriaan Buurke), Kyle Wendt (Sabrina), Austin VanderLaan (Samantha Kulhanek) and Lauren VanderLaan; his great grandchild Callahan Wendt; and his brother Fred VanderLaan.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Beacon Cremation & Funeral Service, King-Hart Chapel (2370 N 72nd Ave, Hart, MI 49420). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 2nd 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
