He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Tate and Gertha Tate (Eisenlohr). He is survived by: his wife Frances Lucille Barber (Barber); his children, Michael Tate (Nancy), Marilynn Heer (Bob) and Patrick Tate (Deborah); his grandchildren, Shane Tate (Jennifer), Hiedi Michael (Derek), Jamie Beckman (Trish), Theresa Van Etten (Moriah), Marianne Standifer (Patrick) and Rebekah Tate; his great grandchildren, Brady, Landry, Trayce, Jessica, Hannah, Nikolas and Siena; his great great grandchildren, Carter, Jade, Taytum and Rocker; his stepgrandchildren, Chris, Craig, Cameraon and Jenni; and his siblings, Jim Tate (Nancy), Dan Tate, Joyce Anderson (Paul) and Willard Tate (Stella).
