He was predeceased by: his parents, Gladys Huizing and John Huizing; and his brothers-in-law, Rex Wiedman and Gerald B. Miller (Linda). He is survived by: his wife Maureen Miller Huizing; his children, Sheryl Lynn Benson (Mike), Monica Field (Jim), Sheila Burrell (Rick) and Kevin Standfuss (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Tabitha, Kevin Drew, Andrew, Alexandria, Kenneth, Jennie, Keegan and Abigail; his sisters, Susan Wiedman and Mary Fosburg (Ray); and his brothers-in-law, Joe Miller (Pearl) and David Miller (Debra). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hart United Methodist Church.
