John Wilburn Curtis Obituary
In loving memory of John Wilburn Curtis of Hart, Michigan, who departed this world on June 8, 2025 at the age of 89. John Wilburn leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Milburn and Clara Mae Curtis (Lipsey); his siblings, Christine Brown, Charles Curtis, Mel Curtis, Virginia Hindman Ballas, Drexel Kalavitz, Shirlene Scouten and Emory Curtis; and his grandson Joshua VandenHeuvel.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy Curtis, Renee Curtis, John Curtis (RuthAnn) and Carmen Curtis-Skowronski (Joe); his grandchildren, Samantha, Jarrad, Alexa, Zayne, Jacob, Dylan, Christine and Makynzie; and his brothers, James Curtis (LaVonne) and Dan Curtis (Barb). He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Hart United Methodist Church (308 S State St, Hart, MI 49420). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
