With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Ruth Novotny of Hart, Michigan, who passed away on January 19, 2026 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Stimson and Bethel Stimson (Lampka); her grandsons, Brian Jones and Brent Jones; and her brothers, Frank Stimson and Kenneth Stimson.

She is survived by: her husband Selden Novotny; her children, Rebecca Jones (Michael), Melodie Raber and Steven Freed (Jennifer); her grandsons, Benjamin Raber (Rachel) and Zachary Freed; her great grandchildren, Bronx Jones, Jersey Jones, Elizabeth Raber and Lydia Raber; her son-in-law Don Raber; Jennifer Jones.
