She is survived by: her children, Nora Kokx (Dave) of Hart, Steve Merten (Cathy) of Plainwell, Tim Merten (Christine) of Hart, Ron Merten of Grand Rapids and Rita Longcore (Milton) of Hart; her grandchildren, Crystal Birchmeier (Bryan), Scott Kokx (Sara), Clayton Merten, Brittany Lewman (Sean), Austin Merten, Elizabeth Albus (Jordan), Jacob Longcore and Garrett Longcore; her great grandchildren, Avery, Denna Birchmeier, Sophia, Kenneth, Kevin, Lewman of Alaska, Joseph, Hannah and Benjamin Albus; her stepsister Dana Alvarado; and her sister-in-law June Merten.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (2380 W Jackson Rd, Hart, MI 49420). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 5th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
