With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mark Babinec of Hart, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 8, 2025 at the age of 78. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Babinec and Lawain Babinec (Near); his wife Nancy Babinec; his granddaughter Cecelia Babinec; his brother-in-law Lee Ingalls II; his nephew Lee Ingalls III; and his great-nephew Tad Siuda.

He is survived by: his children, Anna Wassa (Mark), Benjamin Babinec (Nikki) and Lindsey Franz; his grandchildren, Ben Wassa, Max Wassa, Niko Babinec, Crew Babinec, Vivian Franz, Stella Franz and Hazel Franz; and his siblings, Mike Babinec (Sue), Judie McGovern (Mike), Sandy Ingalls (Lee), Kathleen Brown (Scott), Barb Kartes (Steve), Gary Babinec (Brenda) and Greg Babinec (Etsuko).
