He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Greiner (Daly) and John Nicholas Greiner; his parents-in-law, N. J. Hook and Thelma Hook (Kokx); and his sisters, Judith Greiner and Martha Greiner.
He is survived by: his wife Jonda Greiner (Hook); his sons, Nicholas Greiner and Bryant Greiner (Anna); his grandson Logan Greiner; his siblings, Margaret Kennedy (Leo), Sheila Greiner, Virginia Reed (Bruce), Karen Larder (Larry), Delores Sahakian (Jim), Marcia Muczynski (John), John Greiner (Cindy) and Peter Greiner; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Larson (Rodney), Jane Hook, Jan (Theresa) and Jon Hook (Nancy). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
