He is survived by: his father Walter Pittel; his wife DeLynn Pittel (Stoppa); his children, Jennifer, Kevin and Mike; his brother Roger; his sister-in-law Carol; his children-in-law, Justin, Celine and Ashley; his nieces, Hannah and Adena; his nephew Isaac; and his grandchildren, Clifford, Kaycie and Cherie.
He built a pulley system for heavy outdoor items, an air filtration system during Covid, and was constantly improving things around the house - his and his children's. Alan was always engineering a way to make something easier, more efficient, better.
