He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfie Ayotte and Leona Ayotte; his former wife Doris Ayotte; his daughter Tracy Ayotte; his stepgranddaughter Alexis Olszewski; his brother Clay Ayotte; and his sister-in-law Aurelia Gaines.
He is survived by: his wife Ardith Ayotte; his child Jamie Chez Ayotte; his stepchildren, Mark Olszewski, Christine Buser and Michael Olszewski (Reva); and his siblings, Beatrice Moore, Geraldine Chelotti and Ronald Ayotte.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 8:45 AM to 9:20 AM at the St. Dominic Chapel (765 N Hickory Ridge Rd, Highland, MI 48357). A rosary will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 9:20 AM to 10:00 AM at the same location. A requiem service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Hodge Cemetery (5368 Fenton Rd, Fenton, MI 48430). A Mass will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at the Saint Dominic Chapel (765 N Hickory Ridge Rd, Highland, MI 48357).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests no floral arrangements to be sent, and instead donations in Gilman's honor may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or request a Requiem Mass. https://www.stjude.org.
