It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martin Brent Zapinski of Hartland, Michigan, born in Royal Oak, Michigan, who passed away on January 9, 2026, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Zapinski and Harriet Zapinski; his brother Matthew; his wife Susan Zapinski; and his son-in-law Daniel (Tonye).

He is survived by: his daughters, Tracye (Mark O'Brien), Tonye, Terrye (Andrew Kraft) and Tandye (Rob Calvano); and his grandchildren, Caitlin, Susan, Morgan, Moria, Louis, Abigail, Conner, Jacob, Adam, Cameron, Anthony and Alex.
