She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Ballor and Margaret Ballor (McLellan); her husband Gerald W. Van Ochten; her son Roger Van Ochten; and her grandmother Nellie McLellan Brady.
She is survived by: her daughter Gail; her son-in-law Joseph Madziar of Mason; her granddaughter Angela Madziar; her sister Jeanne Gorsuch (James); and her sister-in-law Marlene Wiehl (Edward) of Essexville. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
