He was predeceased by: his mother Joan Davidson; and his stepfather Roger of Battle Creek. He is survived by: his wife Jo; his daughters, Adrianne Watkins (Scott) and Erin Boeve (Matt); his grandchildren, Owen, Ada, Cole, Lena and Holden; his sister Debbie Weimer (Ken); his sister-in-law Char Vader (Cindy Vader); and his nieces and nephews, Adam Weimer (Maryn), Jillian Weimer, Tara Schmalz (Mike) and Spencer Vader.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Lansing (https://hospiceoflansing.org), whose compassionate care supported Gary and his family during his final year.
