She was predeceased by: her husband Francis "Tarze" Decator; her children, Cristy Held and Aron Decator; her parents, Fay Shanafelt and Bernice Shanafelt (Booher); and her brother Sheldon Shanafelt.
She is survived by: her children, Teresa Decator-Yarbrough (Ken), Daniel Decator (Anne) and Beth Stotler; her grandson Nicholas J. Decator; her great grandchildren, Nicholas M. and Chloe Decator; and her siblings, Gordon Shanafelt (Patricia) and Ellen Shanafelt. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews extended family.
