We announce the death of Rose M. McGrath of Haslett, Michigan, who passed away on September 25, 2026, at the age of 68. Rose will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bernard Sheppard and Delores (Litke); and her siblings, Cathy Hardenburgh, Joseph Sheppard and Paul Michels.
She is survived by: her children, Patrick McGrath of Lansing, Casey and Derrick Ruiz of Haslett; her stepchildren, Nicole Noonon, Joshua and Janna Clifford; her grandchildren, Hunter, Dillion, Spencer McGrath, Jacob (Karrissa), Jarrod, Justin Cornell, Allison, Jessie (Tyler), Jonathan (Lauren) and Amber Ruiz; her great grandchildren, Meliyah, Georgia, Aubree, Lyla, Adalynn, Daniel, Matthias and Amelia; her siblings, Lulu Bignall and Michael; and her sister-in-law Sharon Sheppard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Dewitt Township Community Center (16101 Brook Rd, Lansing, MI 48906).
