With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernisha Jerrels of Haslett, Michigan, who passed away on September 23, 2025 at the age of 79. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Tommie L. White Sr. and Evelena White; and her siblings, Brenda Jean, Alice, Barbara and Woodrow Sr..

She is survived by: her daughter Allesha; her grandson Darius (Brooklyn); her brother Tom L. White (Esther) of Warren, Michigan; her siblings-in-law, Irene James of Lansing, Michigan and Karl Smith of Harrison, Michigan.; her nephews, Woodie Jr., Reggie, Andrew, Stephen (Tara) and Brandon; her friends, Donnie Richardson and AB; Darryl Jr. and Julius Morris. She is also survived by uncles, aunts, cousins, extended family.
