He was predeceased by: his parents, Alexander Matzkanin and Ruth Matzkanin (Bliss); and his brother Chester Matzkanin. He is survived by: his sister Martha Byington (Matzkanin); his brother-in-law Robert Byington; his niece Sarah Konynenbelt (Byington); his nephew Eric Byington; and his great-nephews, Owen and Isaac Konynenbelt.
