He was predeceased by: his parents, Verdan Eldred and Dorothy Eldred (Loomis); his wife Shirley Eldred; his daughter Karen Carpunky; his granddaughter Angie Schantz; his brothers, Gaylord Eldred and Eugene Eldred (Sue); and his nephew Joe Eldred.
He is survived by: his children, Brenda Morgan (Wayne), Brad Eldred (Cam) and Mark Eldred. He is also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the Striker Cemetery (4400 Davison Rd, Hastings, MI 49058).
