As David Wayne departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though David Wayne may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy David Wayne leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Solmes and Anna Mae Solmes; and his siblings, Russell Solmes and Leslie Solmes. He is survived by: his wife Joan Kay Solmes (Cole); and his children, Stacey Vandenberg (Bob), Christina Woytal (Wade) and David Solmes Jr. (Tracy). He is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
