With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dollie Jean Godfrey of Hastings, Michigan, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Dollie leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her husband Bob Godfrey; and her children, Ernest Laverne Staup and Rebecca Grace Whetstone. She is survived by: her children, Linda McNutt (Bill), Dianna Maka, Merle Staup (Sally Perez), Leo Hendershot (Rose) and Larry Hendershot (Terry). She is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
