It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Arthur Jones of Hastings, Michigan, who passed away on July 8, 2025, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Duane Arthur may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Duane Arthur touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his mother Ethel Jones (Bird). He is survived by: his significant other Maxine Jones (Christiansen) of Hastings, Michigan; his children, Linda Henion (Jones) of Alamosa, Gary Jones of Hastings, Kenneth Jones of Palmer Lake, Colorado. and Larry Jones; his father Edwin "Carey" Jones; and his siblings, Colleen Shantz (Jones) and Dale Jones. He is also survived by his 9 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
