He was predeceased by : his daughter Loretta Jane Halsey; and his former life partner Beulah. He is survived by : his wife Janet; his siblings, Manuel of Lansing, MI, Rosa Lee Carrier of Tennessee and Janice Snapp of Tennessee; and his stepchildren, Mary, Audrey and Edward. He is also survived by his 17 grandchildren, 36 great- grandchildren, 10 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
