We are sad to announce that, on October 19, 2025, at the age of 69, James R. Rice (Hastings, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Rice and Mary Rice (Lind); his brother Scot Rice; his father-in-law Carroll Smith; and his brother-in-law Carroll B. Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Alicia Rice of Harvey; his brother Jeffrey Rice of Lansing; his mother-in-law Alexandra Smith; and his siblings-in-law, Mark Smith (Terry), Mandy Tye (Joel) and Amy Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
