She was predeceased by : her husband Myron Von Seggern; her siblings, Warren Von Essen, Marjorie Novak and Lloyd Von Essen; and her daughter-in-law Suzanne Gauthier.

She is survived by : her children, Dr. Randal Von Seggern of Greensboro, NC, Dr. Wesley Von Seggern (Lori) of Plainwell, MI, Ruth Halcomb (Rod) and Dr. Jeffrey Von Seggern of Middleville, MI; her daughter-in-law Jan Von Seggern of Greensboro, NC; her sister Maxine Pfeiffer of Omaha, NE; and her extended family Hanna Martin of Lincoln, NE.. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
