We are sad to announce that, on August 13, 2023, at the age of 85, Richard Carl Nelson of Hastings, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lial Nelson and Isabel Nelson; his son Tommy; his sister Gwen Provost; and his granddaughters, Jalae Dakin and Kendra Nelson.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene; his children, Khris Kenyon, Dale Kenyon (Ruby), Patricia Dakin (Wade), Pamela Nelson and Paige Herrington (Scott); his grandchildren, Kati Mitchell (Mike), Zakary Kenyon (Magan), Ronald Allerding, Kelsi Johns (Adam), Alexis Dakin (Braden), Maicee VanSkyock (Brandon), Lezlie Ehredt (Josh), Samuel Dakin (Alayna), Matthew Allerding and Cayden Herrington; and his brother Robert Nelson. He is also survived by his grandchildren, he is survived by 13 great grandchildren.
