He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Mee and Tessie Mee (Sawyers). He is survived by: his wife Teresa Mee of Hastings; his son Cedric Mee of Florida; his stepchildren, Jessie Elliott (Candy) of Hastings and Stephanie Norris (Joel) of Hastings; and his siblings, Linda Mee, Beverly Amwake (Grady), Terri Wren (Doug), Mary Axe (Jeff) and James Mee. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren.
