We are sad to announce that on December 4, 2023, at the age of 77, Richard Henry Whidden of Hastings, Michigan, born in Arcadia, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert Whidden and June Whidden; his wife Sheila Black Whidden (Brown); and his siblings, Charles Robert Whidden and Lisa Lorraine Whidden (Sheila).

He is survived by : his stepchildren, Darla Bloom (Scott), Deana Brownlow (John), Darrell Black (Tina Echelbarger), Ken Black (Kathleen) and Col. Bill Black (Kimberly). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.
