He was predeceased by: his parents, Dr W. Wilbert Welch and Meryl Welch; and his siblings, Dave, Wendyl "Curt" Welch and Donna Jean Welch.
He is survived by: his brother Dale (Marcia); his wife Nancy Buehler Welch; his children, Aaron Welch (Jenifer) and Kirstin VanderMolen (Kevin); his grandchildren, Emily Weaver (Keagan), Weston Welch, Treyson Welch (Brooklyn), Molly Welch, Kate VanderMolen and Lucy VanderMolen; and his great grandchild Julia VanderMolen. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hastings Baptist Church (309 E Woodlawn Ave, Hastings, MI 49058). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location.
