He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Oliver and Ora Oliver (Newton). He is survived by: his children, James Rider, Jana Pepin (Craig), Steven Rider and Lynette Rider (Christopher Johnson); and his grandchildren, Tony Wickham, Marissa Wickham and Trista Johnson. He is also survived by two sisters, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
