Susan Steele Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Susan Steele of Hastings, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Cook and Jean Cook; and her grandson Austin Endres. She is survived by: her husband Warren Steele; and her children, Michelle Simpson (Doug), Joyelle Lucas (Blake), Devan Endres (Jenny), Joe Steele (Melanie) and Allen Steele (Heather). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Girrbach Funeral Home (328 S Broadway St, Hastings, MI 49058). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM and at 1:00 PM at the Fuller Cemetery (4400 N Charlton Park Rd, Hastings, MI 49058).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the National Cancer Institute, Building 31 Room 11A-16, 9000 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD 20892.
