He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph DeMott and Francena DeMott; his brother Ken DeMott; and his in-laws, David and Shirley Ames.
He is survived by: his wife Cheryl; his children, Ted DeMott (Amy), Karen Bailey (Jim), Felicia, Cassandra Ames and Tim Kimball; his sister Glenna Roger; and his sister-in-law Pam DeMott. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
