She was predeceased by : her parents, Edna Simmons and Willard Simmons; her husband Robert Brown Sr.; her children, Suzie and Tom Brown; and her sister Marilyn Phifer.
She is survived by : her children, Dawn Hilliker, Robert O. Brown II (Rosemary), James Brown (JoAnna) and Terry Brown; and her siblings, Ron Simmons (Hazel), Bill Simmons (Chris), Wayne Simmons, Kenyon Simmons, Lucey Miller and Cheryll Stamm (Simmons). She is also survived by 27 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, 4 great great-grandchildren.
