It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Ambrose Hewitt (Hastings, Michigan), who passed away on January 21, 2022, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint William leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Hewitt and Vera Hewitt; his wife Elaine (Cotant); his son-in-law Skip; and his great grandchild Aiden Hewitt.

He is survived by: his children, Charlene Tompkins (Skip), Marilyn Murphy (Larry) and Douglas Hewitt. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephew.
