She was predeceased by : her parents, John Palmer and Ona Palmer; her husband Galen Oliver Jr.; and her siblings-in-law, Jim Bodine (Lory) and Shirley Palmer (Foy).

She is survived by : her children, Galen Oliver III, Elizabeth Lucksted (Dan) and Brian Oliver (BethAnn); and her siblings, Foy Palmer, John Palmer, Joel Palmer (Susan) and Lory Bodine. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.

She also worked at Gilden Woods Early Care and Preschool for several years until the diagnosis of her Alzheimer's.
