She was predeceased by: her spouse Nashat Kainaya. She is survived by: her children, Rita Kainaya, Ronnie (Rudaina) and Robert Kainaya (Nora); her grandchildren, Emily, Madison, Sophia, Kaitlyn, Violet and Penelope; and her siblings, Jalal Shallal (Nawal), Jamal Shallal (Lillian), Julita Shallal, Julia Khami (Michael), Janette Shallal, Jane Shallal Kittel (John), Jack Shallal, Joseph Shallal (Lillian) and Jefferson Shallal (Jim).
