It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorene F. Layou of Hazel Park, Michigan, who passed away on February 21, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar McClain and Metza McClain; her husband Charles W. Layou; her son Charles Layou Jr.; and her siblings, Jacqueline Muniz, Sandra Beckham (Rodney) and Frank McClain.

She is survived by: her children, Linda Fabiszewski (Daniel), Deborah White (Larry) and Michael Layou (Leah). She is also survived by ses 16 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grand-children.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lorene's church.
