It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marqus Yakeera (Hazel Park, Michigan), who passed away on October 28, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the vast expanse of eternity, Marqus shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Marqus farewell, their loved ones carry with them the precious gift of their memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
A burial will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the White Chapel Cemetery (621 W Long Lake Rd, Troy, MI 48098). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the St. Joseph Chaldean Catholic Church (2442 E Big Beaver Rd, Troy, MI 48030).
