It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Talal Yousif Mukhtar (Hazel Park, Michigan), who passed away on June 27, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Laila Francis Mukhtar; his children, Eva Samano (Reiman Samano) and Awan Kuza (Bryant Kuza); his grandchildren, Noah Samano, Faith Samano, Charlotte Samano, Mila Kuza, Celine Kuza and Kennedy Kuza; his parents, Yousif Toma Mukhtar and Zakia Mukhtar; and his siblings, Virgeen Mukhtar, Nakia Mukhtar Kello, Jawdat Mukhtar, Zaki Mukhtar, Zuhair Mukhtar, Bahnam Mukhtar and Mazin MukhtarA.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. George Chaldean Catholic Church (45700 Dequindre Rd, Shelby Township, MI 48317). A burial will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Guardian Angel Cemetery (4701 N Rochester Rd, Oakland Township, MI 48306). A prayer will be held on Monday, June 30th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
