With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas J. Heun of Hazel Park, Michigan, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on January 17, 2023 at the age of 76. He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, John Heun and Arlene Heun; his wife Barbara Heun; his son Matthew D. Heun; his grandchild Cam'Rynn; and his siblings, Mike (Jolene), Kathy, Karen (Mike Kelly), Nancy (Jerry Rennert), Steve (Debbie), Tim (Wendy), Dan (Veronica), Paul (Abby) and Keith (Cindy). He was also cherished by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 5th 2023 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (23321 S Chrysler Dr, Hazel Park, MI 48030). A committal service will be held on Friday, May 5th 2023 at 2:30 PM at the Great Lakes National Cemetery (4200 Belford Rd, Holly, MI 48442).
