Vernia June Vanover Obituary

Vernia June Vanover, age 77 of Hazel Park, MI passed away on February 10, 2015 at home. She was born November 11, 1937 in Summer, KY to the late Henry Jasper and Rachel Louise (nee Davis) Sulfridge.

She married Earnest Vanover on March 24, 1956. Vernia loved family, friends and especially her Great Grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband Earnest Vanover, daughter Judy Ann Logan (nee Vanover), Grandchildren Louise Lynn Steele (nee Logan), Michael Kevin Logan and Shaketta Larkin. Also survived by her Great Grandchildren Sophia Margaret Logan and Daniel Lee Steele. Sister of Pauline Brown, Corinia Hunt, Eugene Sulfridge, Bobby Sulfridge, Daniel Sulfridge and Tony Sulfridge.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 13, 2015 from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a funeral service at 7:00 pm at Hopcroft Funeral Home, 31145 John R. Road, Madison Heights.

Visitation at Croley Funeral Home, 103 S. 2nd St., Williamsburg, Kentucky will be held on Sunday, February 15th from 10 am to 3 pm with a service at 1 pm. Burial at Pinney Grove Cemetery, Williamsburg, Kentucky on Monday, February 16th.
