She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Townsend and Phyllis Townsend Sr. (Brown). She is survived by: her husband Donald S. Potter; her brother Robert "Bob" Townsend Jr. (Sue); her sister-in-law Sally L. Hornsby; her nephews, Jonathan D. Townsend (Katie) and Michael D. Hornsby (Sandy); her stepchildren, Eleanor K. Gilbert and Donald T Jaworowitz; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Nathan Hornsby, Kenley and Karsyn Townsend; and her grandchildren, Tara and Ryan Gilbert.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Peter Lutheran Church (2461 N Raucholz Rd, Hemlock, MI 48626). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or St. Peter Lutheran Church.
