She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Cowell and Muriel Cowell. She is survived by: her sister Cris Timmer (Les) of Imlay City; her brother-in-law Rev. Gerald "Jerry" Schalau; her children, Gerald "Jerry" Schalau II (Christine), Kathy Scrivener (Steve) and Roy Fuson (Megan); her grandchildren, Kassandra Golm, Raegan Schalau, Gerald "Broghan" Schalau, Corey Fuson, Alexis "Lexi" Fuson, Mariah Fuson, Brookelynn Fuson and Tina Gray (Justin); Ryker Fuson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
