He was predeceased by: his father David Henry Thurston. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Ellen Thurston (Mays); his wife Kady; his daughters, Isabel and Eleanor; and his siblings, Alene Hopkins (Jeff), Anna Badger and Aaron Thurston. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the funeral home to assist the family with the expenses of caring for Alan.
