She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Varney and Anna Varney (Reese); her husband Merle Sorenson; her children, Julie Norton and Bruce Sorenson; her siblings, Rod Varney, Bill Varney and Carol McKee; and her siblings-in-law, Gerald Sorenson, Max McKenzie, Alvin McKee, Donna Varney and Sue Varney.
She is survived by: her daughter Dee Dee Bickham (Soap); her granddaughters, Erin Hendricks (Sean) and Dr. Rebecca Boston (Nick); her great grandchild Everett Boston; her siblings, Doris McKenzie and Doug Varney; and her siblings-in-law, Cheryl Sorenson, Shirley Sorenson, Dorthy Sorenson, Minnie Varney, Jan Varney, Roger Sorenson and Duane Sorenson. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
