Ruth Ann Sliter Obituary
It is with sadness that the passing of Ruth Ann Sliter of Higgins Lake, Michigan is shared. Ruth, born on March 6, 1948 in Midland, Michigan, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Ruth will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Friends and family will honor Ruth by reflecting on shared memories and the positive influence she had in their lives. Though Ruth is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Ruth’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack McKee and Bessie McKee Sr. (Robinson). She is survived by: her daughter Chevon Rogers (Chris) of Ann Arbor; her grandson Cooper Rogers of Ann Arbor; and her siblings, Shirley Davis of Merritt, Gloria Potter of Charlevoix, Patty McKee of Greenville, Teresa Shores of Higgins Lake, Jack McKee Jr. (Bev) of Williamsburg and David McKee of Higgins Lake.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Grayling Moose Lodge (7970 S Grayling Rd, Grayling, MI 49738).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Ruth's memory may be directed to Cooper Rogers' Scholarship Fund, 4324 Climbing Way, Ann Arbor, Michigan 48103.
