She is survived by: her husband Paul; her pet Aggie; her children, Kristen Brown (Brandon), Jim Hurst, Colleen Emerick (Mark), Cassandra Balok (Todd) and Keith Mecklenborg (Heather); her grandchildren, Taryn (Nick), Kathryn (Corey), Austin, Owen, Jonathon, Matthew, Spencer (Erika), Linden, Ava, Aidan, Ian, Christian and Logan; her great grandchildren, Emery, Lincoln, Eloise and Lilah; and her siblings, Pat Dopierala, Terry Carr (Maureen), Jim Carr, Diane Carr and Anita Carr. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are encouraged in Dawn's name to St. Jude Children's research Hospital.
