With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Stella Martha Viau of Highland, Michigan, born in Escanaba, Michigan, who passed away on March 22, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Stanley Hojnacki and Mary Hojnacki; her husband Raymond J. Viau; her great grandchildren, Brianna Viau and Jared Lantagne; and her siblings, Walter Hojnacki, Sophia Allen, Bernice Berish and Adola Brown.
She is survived by : her children, Patricia Lantagne (Kenneth) of Schaffer, Donna Karl (David) of Escanaba, Deborah Beauvais (Peter) of Escanaba, Robert Viau (Diane) of Cornell and Thomas Viau (Gay) of Chyenne, Wyoming; and her grandchildren, Tracy Lantagne (Rusty Bower), Melissa Kaukola (Steve), Kelly Cox (Nick), Casey Viau (Chrissy), Cherry Williams (Jody), Stefan Karl, Scott Karl (Kelly), Samantha Switzer (David), Michael Viau (Linda Rose) and Craig McCaa (Denise). She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
