With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Lynn Allen of Hillman, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 22, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Milton VanTiem and Mary VanTiem (Kraft); her son Richard Allen (Trena); her stepdaughter Susan Allen; her brothers, William VanTiem and Robert VanTiem; and her sisters-in-law, Cindy VanTiem and Sandy VanTiem.
She is survived by: her husband Frank Allen; her daughter Casie Grimes (Alex); her stepchildren, Charlene Nuttall (Ron) and Frank Allen (Stephanie); her godchildren, Racheal and Michaeleen; and her siblings, Milton Jr. VanTiem (Kathy), Jessie Sherbutt, Mary Ann Fowler (Douglas), Scott VanTiem and Darlene Sutphen (Rich). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren.
