She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlo Simmons and Alta Simmons (Evers); her husband Rex Hartley; and her brothers, Richard Evers and Jake Simmons.

She is survived by: her children, Cindy Goodwin and Vincent Goodwin; her stepchildren, Dawn Reynolds (Paul) and Jim Hartley; her grandchildren, Branen Goodwin, Quincy Goodwin, Heather Casey, Brittaney Casey and Brandon Casey; her great grandchild Aaron; her great great grandchild Ivy; her siblings, Betty Tervol, Mary Spurlock and Chuck Evers; and the father of her children Norman Goodwin.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Hospice of Hillsdale County.
