It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Lee Cooley of Hillsdale, Michigan, who passed away on April 17, 2026, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifford Cooley and Maxine Cooley (Reese); his brother Jim Cooley; his grandson Tyler Cooley; and his brother-in-law David Hoover.
He is survived by: his children, Shelby Cooley (Charlie Stailey) of Everett, PA, Joshua Cooley of Saline and Christopher Cooley of Hillsdale; his siblings, Robert Cooley (Rosemary) of Perry, MI, Carolyn Darling (Kerry) of Potterville, MI and Shirley Hoover of Holt; his sister-in-law Kathy Cooley of Holt; his grandchildren, Ashlynn Stoll, Erin Stoll, Jackson Apsitis, Zachary Apsitis, Laci Apsitis, Connor Cooley and Mia Cooley; and his great grandchildren, Grayson, Adalyn and Emerie Apsitis.
Memorial contributions in honor of Arthur can be given to the family to aid with final expenses.
